Use the audit log to review your account activity

In the Audit Log, you can monitor activities performed across your entire account so you can easily track changes.

View account activity

On the Audit Log page in your account settings, each log entry includes the following information:

  • Activity: a summary of the account activity that was performed.
  • Object: the specific asset, like a Zap, where the activity occurred.
  • Performed by: the actor who performed the action. When Zapier performs the action, the performer is “Zapier System”.
  • Date: the timestamp when the action occurred.

List of actions

The Audit Log displays the following actions in your account:

Zaps

Created When the Zap was first made.
Version published When a new version of the Zap was published.
Restored When a Zap was restored from the trash.
Deleted When a Zap was moved to the trash.
Turned on When the Zap was turned on with the existing version.
Turned off When the Zap was turned off.
Ownership changed When ownership of a Zap was changed.
Approval request approved When a change request was approved.
Approval request denied When a change request was denied.
Approval request sent When a change request was sent for approval.
Approval request canceled When a change request was canceled by the submitter.
