What happens when you downgrade your Zapier plan?

You can downgrade your Zapier plan at any time. If the new plan you select has different features and limits, you’ll lose access to them at the end of that monthly or annual billing cycle. This article explains what happens to assets and features when you downgrade.

Tip

If you change your mind, you can stop the downgrade at any time before the end of the billing cycle.

For all downgrades: assets that exceed the limit of your new plan

For all plans, if your new plan has a lower limit for any asset (such as a lower row limit in Zapier Tables), you will not lose any existing data. However, you will not be able to add new data until your asset is under the plan's limit. 

Moving from a multi-user plan to an individual paid plan

Multi-user plans, such as Team and Enterprise, offer management tools and features that are not available in individual plans, such as shared folders and app connections. If you move from an Enterprise or Team plan to Pro or Free, you will lose access to those features. 

Access to shared folders

When you downgrade to an individual plan, the owner will still have access to the account's shared folders. You can move Zaps to another account if a member wants to continue using them. 

Access to private folders

The account owner will continue to have full access to the assets in folders. 

Access to shared app connections

Any shared app connections will be disconnected once your account is downgraded. You can add a private app connection to continue running automations such as Zaps or agents.

Moving from any paid plan to free

When you cancel a paid plan, your account will continue to be active and become a free Zapier account. Certain features are only available in paid plans.
