Use actions on Zapier Central

This product is in open beta. It’s available for use but still in active development and may change.

You can use actions while chatting to your Zapier Central assistant. The assistant can complete any actions that have been added to it. 

 

Create an action

  1. From the assistant Chat screen, click Actions
  2. Click + Add action. A dialog box will open.
  3. Click the search field to search for and select the app you want your assistant to use.
  4. In the Connection dropdown menu, select an account to connect to. 
  5. In the Actions section, select the checkbox beside one or more actions.
  6. Click Save.

 

Delete an action

  1. At the bottom of the screen, click Actions.
  2. Find the action you want to delete and click the three dot icon .
  3. Click Delete action.
  4. Confirm it by clicking Delete action on the dialog box.

 

Use actions in conversations

Once you set up an action, you can chat with the assistant and ask it to perform any of those actions. The assistant will let you know once the action is completed and what the result was.

Every time an action runs, it consumes one activity from your activity limit. You can view all past actions in the Activity tab.
