If the New Email trigger for Microsoft Outlook is not working, check these possible causes:
- The sender of the email is the same as the receiver.
- The sender and receiver’s domain is the same, and the receiver is a shared inbox.
The sender of the email is the same as the receiver
The Zap will not trigger when the email is being sent from the same address that's receiving it. To fix this, change the email address that is sending the email.

The Zap will not trigger for emails sent to a shared inbox that has the same domain as the sender's address. To fix this, send the email from an address with a different domain.
