Can I control when my Zap runs?

It depends on the type of workflow you have set up, the type of trigger your Zap uses, and the capabilities of the apps you're connecting.

Polling triggers

Polling triggers look for new information from your trigger app once every 1 to 15 minutes. The polling time for your Zaps varies based on your subscription plan.

Customize polling interval

Available on plans:

  • Open your Zap in the Zap editor.
  • In the right sidebar, click the advanced settings icon Nav: cog.
  • Click the Polling interval dropdown menu to expand it, then select a new interval for this Zap.
    • You can select between 1 and 15 minutes.
miscEye icon Note
  • The polling interval will update after the next poll.
  • Instant triggers are not affected by this setting.

Instant triggers

Instant triggers run each time new information comes in directly from your trigger app. You cannot change this.

Change when your Zap runs using built-in tools

If you want your Zap to run at a specific time, you can set up a scheduled trigger.

Alternatively, if you want your actions to run after a certain period of time, rather than instantly, you can add a delay to your Zap.
