In Team and Enterprise plans, you can import and export Zaps to easily back up and share Zaps with other accounts.
Note
- Import and export only support the JSON file format.
- Unless you are the account owner or super admin, you can only export Zaps you own.
Import Zaps
To import a Zap JSON file:
- Go to Data Management.
- Click Import My Zaps.
- In the dialog box, click Choose File.
- Select the file that you want to import.
- Click View Imported Zaps or Done.
- Imported Zaps are located in a new private folder in your account, with the date of import in the folder name.
- After importing your Zap:
- Turn on the Zap.
- Test your app connections. If an app connection is no longer active, reconnect the app connection.
Note
- If the Zap is large, it may require more time to import.
- Import is only available in paid Team or Enterprise plans. It’s not available in trials.
Export Zaps from settings
You can explort all of your Zaps from the Data Management page.
- Go to Data Management.
- Click Export my Zaps.
- Select a location on your computer to store your downloaded Zaps.
If you're the owner of the account, you can also export all Zaps from all users.
- Go to Data Management.
- Click Export all private & shared Zaps to receive a JSON file via email.
Note
If the Zap file is large, or there is a large number of Zaps to export, it may require more time to export.
Export Zaps from the Zaps page
You can export a single Zap, multiple Zaps, or an entire folder of Zaps from the Zaps page.
To export a single Zap or multiple Zaps in a folder:
- Go to the Zaps page.
- Select the checkbox next to each Zap you want to export.
- At the top of your list of Zaps, next to the enabled checkbox, click the down arrow to open the folder dropdown menu.
- Select Export.
- In the dialog box, click Export.
To export an entire folder of Zaps:
- Go to the Zaps page.
- At the top of your list of Zaps, select the checkbox to select all of your Zaps.
- Click Export.
Select a location to store your Zaps.
Export Zaps from Zap Details
You can export a single Zap from the Zap Details page.
- Go to the Zap Details page for the Zap.
- Click Export JSON.
- Select a location on your computer to download your Zaps.
