Limitations
- The daily upload quota is imposed by YouTube's API. Each video upload consumes 1,600 quota units, and typically the default quota is 10,000 units per day. This allows approximately 6 video uploads per user per day.
- However, if you're on a Free or Trial Zapier plan, you're limited to uploading up to 5 videos in a 24-hour period with the Youtube app.
- You can use YouTube's quota calculator to better understand how these limits are calculated.
- Zapier can only trigger on videos that are set to "public". Videos that are "private" or "unlisted" cannot trigger workflows.
- When testing the YouTube "Upload Video" action, the step will not actually upload the video but will return default data instead.
- Zapier’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
