YouTube uses OAuth to authenticate your account on Zapier.

  • Log into YouTube to authenticate.
  • Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.

Zapier’s YouTube app uses YouTube API Services. By using Zapier’s YouTube app, you are agreeing to be bound by YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy.

In addition to Zapier’s normal processes for deleting stored data, you can revoke Zapier’s access to your data through Google’s security settings, or by disconnecting the app account.

  • The daily upload quota is imposed by YouTube's API. Each video upload consumes 1,600 quota units, and typically the default quota is 10,000 units per day. This allows approximately 6 video uploads per user per day.
  • However, there's an additional limitation to consider: If you're on a Free or Trial Zapier plan, you're limited to uploading up to 5 videos in a 24-hour period with the Youtube app.
  • You can use YouTube's quota calculator to better understand how these limits are calculated.
