With the rollout of the new asset management experience, Zapier is discontinuing the Projects feature. This will be a phased deprecation based on which Projects features are being discontinued and your Zapier plan.
In the first phase, we will disable the ability to create new projects and add assets to existing projects.
In the second phase, we will automatically migrate your existing projects into folders in the new asset management experience. We will:
- Recreate all projects as folders.
- Copy the project name to the folder name.
- Migrate all applicable assets into the new folder.
- Assign the project owner as the folder owner.
- Maintain existing sharing settings in your assets, except for View-only permissions.
- Remove the Projects listing in the main navigation in the left sidebar of your account.
If you do not currently have the new asset management experience, your account will be migrated to it before we migrate your existing projects. After migration, any user that had a Viewer role in the project will not longer be able to view the assets that were in the Project or the new folder that they were migrated to.
