Manage your custom actions

In the Custom Actions library, you can review, edit, and manage your custom actions in one place, including the ones your teammates created.

Note

Custom actions created with the Start Simple Builder are no longer visible in the Custom Actions Library because they were converted to API Request actions on July 8, 2024. Learn more in this release note.

Custom actions for prohibited apps

If your Enterprise account prohibits an app, any custom action that extends that app shows a Restricted label in the library.

The action is not deleted, but it is unavailable until the app is permitted again:

  • Opening it shows a message that the app is restricted, with a link to learn more. You cannot close the message.
  • You cannot edit, test, publish, duplicate, or regenerate it with AI.

Zaps that already use the action stay on, but the step is held when the Zap runs. Held runs cannot be replayed until the app is permitted again. An admin can add the app to your allowed list, remove it from your restricted list if your account uses the legacy setting, or add a member or team exception.
