Connect to Stripe on Zapier
Stripe uses OAuth to authenticate your account on Zapier.
- Log into Stripe to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.

Use test mode data in your Zaps
Test mode data allows you to use the Stripe test mode when testing your Zap steps.
Unsupported triggers and actions
Test mode data is not supported for these triggers and actions:

How to use test mode data
- When connecting to Stripe, you will need to add a secret test mode API Key.
- This API key will only be used when testing your Zap steps, not when the Zap is live.
- In supported triggers and actions, you'll need to select True in the Would you like to use test mode data for this test sample? dropdown menu. This field will determine if the Zap should use real or test data when testing your Zaps.
- If this field doesn’t appear, it’s because either:
- Your connected account doesn’t have a Test Mode API Key and you will need to reconnect to Stripe again.
- You’re using one of the triggers or actions that support this field.
