Squarespace Forms and Zapier connect to automate your work. You can trigger actions when new form submissions are received and add contacts to email lists or CRMs.
Prerequisites
To use the Squarespace Forms app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Squarespace website on Core, Plus, Advanced, Business, Commerce Basic, or Commerce Advanced plan.
- Admin access to your Squarespace account to generate API keys with Forms permissions.
- A form block, newsletter block, or cover page form on your Squarespace site (other form types cannot be connected to Zapier).
- The form must be connected to Zapier storage within Squarespace.
Connect Squarespace Forms to Zapier
To create an app connection to Squarespace Forms on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Squarespace Forms.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- In the API Key field, enter your unique API key from your Squarespace Developer tools panel. The API key must have Forms permissions.
- Click Yes, Continue to Squarespace Forms.
Your Squarespace Forms account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- Only works with form blocks, newsletter blocks, and cover page forms - it's not possible to connect Zapier to other forms on your site.
- Squarespace does not store form submissions, so Zapier automatically generates example forms for testing purposes.
- Each form or newsletter block needs at least one Zap per action - you cannot have multiple actions triggered by a single Zap connection.
