How to get started with Airtable on Zapier

Acuity Scheduling and Zapier automate your scheduling and client management. You can use triggers like new appointments or cancellations to automatically update a client or block off time on your calendar.

Prerequisites

To use the Airtable app on Zapier, you must have:

Connect Airtable to Zapier

To create an app connection to Airtable on Zapier: 

  • Go to the Apps page.
  • Click + Add connection.
  • A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Airtable.
  • Click Add connection.
  • A new browser tab or window will open.
  • Log into Airtable to authenticate.
  • Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.

Your Airtable account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Triggers, searches, and actions

Triggers
  • New Record  - Triggers when a new record is created or new or existing records when first added to a selected view.
  • New or Updated Record - Triggers when a record is created or updated.
Searches
  • Find Record - Find a record in a table.
  • Find Table - Find tables by searching for a keyword in table name or description.
  • Find Base - Find bases by searching for a keyword in the base name. Only works with 5000 or fewer bases in the account.
  • Find Record by ID - Find a specific record using its unique ID.
  • Find Table by ID - Find a specific table using its unique ID.
  • Find or Create Record - Find or Create Record.
Actions
  • Create Record - Creates a new record with auto-populating fields.
  • Create or Update Record - Find and update an existing record, or create a new one.
  • Update Record - Update a record in a specific table.
  • Create Records (Advanced) - Create up to 10 new records (supports line items).
  • Delete Record - Delete a record in a table.
  • API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
