Prerequisites
To use the Amazon SQS app on Zapier, you must have:
- A paid Zapier account. Amazon SQS is a premium app on Zapier.
- An active AWS account with access to Amazon SQS service.
- At least one SQS queue created in your AWS account.
- A dedicated IAM user for Zapier in AWS with SQS permissions.
Connect Amazon SQS to Zapier
To create an app connection to Amazon SQS on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Amazon SQS.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- Complete the following fields:
- Access Key ID: Enter your AWS Access Key ID.
- Secret Access Key: Enter your AWS Secret Access Key.
- Region: Enter your AWS region.
- Click Yes, Continue to Amazon SQS.
Your Amazon SQS account is now successfully connected to Zapier.
