Agents rely on app connections to perform actions. If a connection is expired or misconfigured, your agent cannot complete tasks in that app.
Symptom
Your agent fails to complete an action in a connected app. You may see an error message in the agent's Activity tab indicating the app connection needs to be reconnected, or the agent may report that it cannot access the app.
Causes
- The app connection has expired or been revoked.
- Your password changed in the connected app.
- The app revoked Zapier's access due to inactivity.
- The connected account does not have permission to access the required data.
How to fix it
- Go to your Zapier connections.
- Find the app your agent is trying to use.
- If the connection shows an error, click Reconnect and sign in again.
- Return to your agent and test the action.
You can also ask your agent to review all app connections for errors. Message your agent something like: "Can you check if there are any issues with my app connections?"
