CodeRabbit and Zapier automate org workflows around code reviews and users. You can list users, update roles and seats, fetch review metrics, and generate reports.
Prerequisites
To use the CodeRabbit app on Zapier, you must have:
- A CodeRabbit account for the organization you want to use in Zaps.
- An API key that starts with
cr-. - For listing users, changing roles, and managing seats: administrator access in CodeRabbit, as required by the CodeRabbit API.
Find your CodeRabbit API key
In CodeRabbit, open API keys in settings. Create or copy an API key that starts with cr-.
Connect CodeRabbit to Zapier
To create an app connection to CodeRabbit on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select CodeRabbit.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- In the API Key field, enter your CodeRabbit API key (it should start with
cr-). - Click Yes, Continue to CodeRabbit.
Your CodeRabbit account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- API rate limits allow up to 10 requests per 60 seconds per organization.
- User management calls require an administrator role in CodeRabbit when the API enforces it; you may see permission errors if your key or plan does not allow the operation.
