How to get started with Quickbase on Zapier

Quickbase and Zapier connect to automate your work. You can trigger actions when new records are created and create new records in tables.

Prerequisites

To use the Quickbase app on Zapier, you must have:

  • An active Quickbase account with at least a Team plan or higher.
  • Appropriate permissions in Quickbase to access the apps you want to integrate. You must be provisioned with a Quickbase role that has at least Basic Access application permissions.
  • IP filtering disabled for your realm or app.
  • A paid Zapier account. Quickbase is a premium app on Zapier.

Connect Quickbase to Zapier

To create an app connection to Quickbase on Zapier:

  • Go to the Apps page.
  • Click + Add connection.
  • A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Quickbase.
  • Click Add connection.
  • A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
  • Complete the following fields:
    • User Token: Enter your Quickbase User Token.
    • Realm: Enter your Quickbase realmn subdomain (e.g., if your realmn subdomain is mycompany.quickbase.com, enter mycompany).
  • Click Yes, Continue to Quickbase.

Your Quickbase account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

  • New Record (Polling) - Triggers when a new record is created.
  • New or Updated Record (Polling) - Triggers when a new or updated record is created.
Searches
  • Find Record - Finds an existing record.
  • Find or Create Record - Finds an existing record.
Actions
  • Create Record - Creates a new record in a Quick Base table.
  • Delete Record - Deletes a record in a Quick Base table.
  • Create / Update Records From Array - Creates or updates records in a Quick Base table based off a provided merge field. Be aware all mapped fields will be over written with values.
  • Update Record - Updates a record in a Quick Base table.
