Once you’ve set up your agent, you’ll want to understand their activity status. This will let you know if they've finished responding to your request or if they need your input.
This product is in open beta. It’s available for use but still in active development and may change.
There are six possible statuses:
- Needs action
- In progress
- Failed
- Cancelled
- Completed
- Test
The status is displayed as a label on the activity row, in either your agent's Activity page, or the All activity page.
Needs action
This status means that the agent requires your input to continue running. This can happen for a few reasons:
- An error occurred while automating a task, such as an expired connection to an app or a necessary document being deleted.
- The agent is unsure about some of the instructions and wants you to clarify them.
- You've asked the agent to request your input or approval before proceeding.
In progress
The agent is carrying out an assigned task.
Failed
The agent could not complete a task.
Cancelled
You cancelled the task.
Completed
The agent finished the task.
Test
The activity is related to agent testing. This status can appear together with any of the other ones.
