Google AI Studio (Gemini) and Zapier connect to automate AI-powered workflows. You can generate text, images, audio, and video, understand documents and audio files, and have conversations with Gemini models.
Prerequisites
To use the Google AI Studio (Gemini) app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Google account with access to Google AI Studio.
- An API key from Google AI Studio.
Get your Google AI Studio API key
- Go to Google AI Studio API keys.
- Log in with your Google account if prompted.
- Click Create API key.
- Select a Google Cloud project or create a new one.
- Copy your API key and store it securely. You will need it to connect to Zapier.
Connect Google AI Studio (Gemini) to Zapier
To create an app connection to Google AI Studio (Gemini) on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Google AI Studio (Gemini).
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- In the API Key field, enter your Google AI Studio API key.
- Click Yes, Continue to Google AI Studio (Gemini).
Your Google AI Studio (Gemini) account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- If you use the Create Conversation action and store messages, messages are truncated after 25 KB. Zapier truncates the oldest messages first.
