Share a template of an agent

You can share a template of your agent with anyone through a public link. When you share an agent's template, anyone who visits the link can create a new agent with the same instructions, actions, and data integrations.

Create a template link

1. From the Zapier Agents home, select your agent.
2. Click Share on the top right. A dialog box will open.
3. Click Generate link.
4. Click Copy link to copy the unique link to your clipboard.

Note

Connected data integrations will only be available to users who already have access to that file.

Using a template link

When someone clicks a shared template link, they can review all the agent's settings and make changes before adding it to their account. These changes do not affect your original agent.

To create a new agent from a template:

1. Visit the template link.
2. Click Use this template.  
3. You can edit the fields in the Configure screen.

Note

If you connect an app account that does not have access to an included data integration, you'll see an error alerting you that the data integration is not available.

Delete a template link

1. From your agent's Configure or Activity screen, click Share. A dialog box will open.
2. Click Delete link.
3. The dialog box will ask you to confirm the action. Click Delete link to confirm.
