If your agent's behavior is not returning the information you expect, you can make changes to refine the results. This article offers some strategies for improving the results.
Improve the instructions
Behaviors work best when instructions are specific. Ensure you mention the following aspects in your instructions:
- Trigger: specify what event should trigger the agent's behavior, and mention the app it should come from, if any.
-
Actions: if you have multiple actions, use bullet points or a numbered list to ensure they are clearly explained.
- When explaining actions, insert the action directly from the Insert tools menu so the agent can use the appropriate app.
- Data integrations: if your agent uses a data integration, ensure you mention any specific part of it that it should use to complete the behavior.
Whenever you make changes to instructions, a trigger, or actions, you can test your behavior again to ensure it works as expected by clicking the Save instructions & test button.
Add data integrations
Data integrations are documents your agent can use as a source of truth when generating replies or carrying out tasks. You can add multiple documents to ensure the agent has all the information it needs.
Give feedback on agent messages
When you interact with the agent, you can provide feedback for each of its replies.
