Review chatbot feedback

Zapier Chatbots is a beta product. It’s available for use, but still in active development and may change.

Visitors can rate chatbot responses using thumbs up and thumbs down. These options appear to the user as soon as the chatbot creates a response. You can see the feedback on the chatbot's conversation history.

Collect chatbot feedback

If you want to review and analyze the performance of a chatbot, you can create a Zap to send the ratings and responses to another app, such as Google Sheets, Zapier Tables, or Airtable.

If no ratings have been received yet, you must test the chatbot to be able to create the Zap. You can do this by asking it a question and rating the response so that it can find a sample. You can do so from the public sharing URL.

To create a Zap to collect chatbot feedback:

  1. Create a new Zap.
  2. In the App field, search and select Zapier Chatbots.
  3. In the Event field, select New Chatbot Feedback.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. In the field Chatbot, select the chatbot to collect feedback from.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Click Test action, to test the Zap and find a sample rating.

Once the trigger is set up, you can continue to set up your actions.

Zapier has begun incorporating certain OpenAI features/functionalities into its product. How OpenAI handles data sent via these features/functionalities is governed by Zapier’s separate contract with OpenAI.
