What are legacy and deprecated apps?

When an app is updated, Zapier will attempt to automatically update your Zaps to the latest version. When this isn't possible, previous versions become legacy or deprecated versions.

If you're using a legacy version, you don't need to update to the latest version. But they will lose support over time, so Zapier recommends that you update. Legacy versions show a “legacy” tag.

If you're using a deprecated version, you must update to the latest version. Deprecated versions have a specific end-of-life date and won't work after that date. Any Zaps using deprecated versions will turn off on that date. Zapier will notify you by email whenever a version is deprecated.
