Steam uses a custom authentication to authenticate your account on Zapier.

  • The Time Played Updated trigger runs every 30 minutes or when the game is exited, whichever comes first. For example, say you're playing a game for 75 minutes. Steam's API update data 3 times: at 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 75 minutes (when you take a break). The Zap will run during the first poll after each update.
