Discord and Zapier connect to automate your chat workflows. You can trigger actions when new messages are posted and send messages to channels.
Prerequisites
To use the Discord app on Zapier, you must have:
- An active Discord account (free or paid).
- Discord server owner or manager role permissions.
- Enable Manage Webhooks permission in your General Channel permissions.
Connect Discord to Zapier
To create an app connection to Discord on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Discord.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into Discord to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your Discord account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- Discord has a global rate limit of 50 requests per second for all bots.
- The Send Channel Message action has a character limit of 2000 characters or 8MB.
- It's expected behavior that the Zapier bot will appear offline.
