Dubsado and Zapier connect to automate client workflows. You can trigger actions when new leads are created and create projects from appointments.
Prerequisites
To use the Dubsado app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Dubsado Premier plan.
Connect Dubsado to Zapier
To create an app connection to Dubsado on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Dubsado.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- In the API Key field, enter your Dubsado API token.
- Click Yes, Continue to Dubsado.
Your Dubsado account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Triggers
- Contract Signed (Instant) - Triggers when a client submits a signed contract.
- New Project as Lead (Instant) - Triggers when a project is created as a lead manually, with a Lead Capture Form or when Public Proposal Form is filled out.
- Project Status Updated (Instant) - Triggers when a project's status is updated.
- New Project as Job (Instant) - Triggers when a project is created as a job manually, with a Lead Capture Form or when a Public Proposal Form is filled out.
- New Payment Received (Instant) - Triggers when a client makes a payment on an invoice.
Searches
- No search actions were found for Dubsado.
Actions
- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
- Create Project - Creates a new project.
Limitations
- Manually applied payments will not trigger the New Payment Received trigger. Only payments made through Dubsado's integrated payment processors will work.
- Contract Signed trigger runs for any contract or sub agreement signed. You may need to use filters to control your workflows.
- Project Status Updated trigger does not run when a new project is created with a status assigned simultaneously.
