Connect to Reddit on Zapier
Reddit uses OAuth to authenticate your account on Zapier.
- Log into Reddit to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Required authentication fields
- Client ID
- Client Secret
Additional authentication instructions
- To enter your details about your Client ID and Client Secret, you need to create an app on Reddit.
- When creating the app, complete the following fields:
- Name: Enter the name for your app e.g. Zapier.
- App Type: Select web app.

- After creating the app, enter the Client ID shown under your app name.
- Your Client Secret will be on the Reddit Apps page under your app's details settings.
