LinkedIn and Zapier connect to automate your social media marketing workflows. You can automatically share updates to your personal profile or company page when triggered by events in other apps.
Prerequisites
To use the LinkedIn app on Zapier, you must have:
- A LinkedIn account.
- Admin access to a LinkedIn Company Page if you want to use the Create Company Update action. Learn more about LinkedIn Page admin roles.

Connect LinkedIn to Zapier
LinkedIn uses OAuth to authenticate your account on Zapier.
To create an app connection to LinkedIn on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select LinkedIn.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log in to your LinkedIn account with your email or phone and password.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account when prompted.
Your LinkedIn account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- Create Share Update - Posts a status update to your LinkedIn profile. You can include text content, URLs, images, and control visibility settings.

- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action that makes a raw HTTP request with LinkedIn authentication.
Limitations
- To use the Create Company Update action, you must be an administrator of the company page.
- LinkedIn has rate limits that may affect high-volume workflows.
- LinkedIn has pagination limits for API requests.
