Limitations

  • Authorization header must be working properly in WordPress (can be tested via Tools Site Health).
  • WordPress plugins like WordFence can block REST API connections and may require adding https://hooks.zapier.com/ to your safe list.
  • CloudFlare users may need to contact CloudFlare support to allowlist API connections.
  • Multiple fields with the same label can cause empty field issues, requiring unique labels for each field.
  • Signature field URLs are intentionally not sent for security reasons and are not available.
  • During testing, File field URLs in sample data are placeholder URLs that show real files. Instead, you can edit the test record to test with a file URL.
  • Websites behind firewalls, using .htpasswd protection, or with restricted access may not work with Zapier. Learn more in troubleshooting the Zapier Add-On.
  • Bad redirection rules in .htaccess files can cause REST API requests to fail.
  • Confirm Email plugins can send incorrect email results and may need to be disabled.
