Prerequisites
To use the Pinterest app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Pinterest account.
- A paid Zapier plan. Pinterest is a premium app on Zapier.
Connect Pinterest to Zapier
To create an app connection to Pinterest on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Pinterest.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into Pinterest to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your Pinterest account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- New Board - Triggers when you create a new board. Note that a "secret" board will not trigger your Zap. (Polling)
- New Pin - Triggers when a new Pin is added to a board. (Polling)
- New Follower - Triggers when you get a new follower. (Polling)

- No search actions available for Pinterest.
Actions
- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
- Create Pin - Creates a new Pin on the board you specify.
Limitations
- Rate limiting applies. Pinterest has strict rate limits that can cause "rate limit exceeded" errors. Trial access is limited to 1,000 requests per day, while Standard access allows 100 requests per second per user per app with category-specific limits.
