How to get started with Acuity Scheduling on Zapier

Acuity Scheduling and Zapier automate your scheduling and client management. You can use triggers like new appointments or cancellations to automatically update a client or block off time on your calendar.

Prerequisites

To use the Acuity Scheduling app on Zapier, you must have:

Connect Acuity Scheduling to Zapier

To create an app connection to Acuity Scheduling on Zapier: 

  • Go to the Apps page.
  • Click + Add connection
  • A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Acuity Scheduling.
  • Click Add connection.
  • A new browser tab or window will open.
  • Log into Acuity Scheduling to authenticate.
  • Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.

Your Acuity Scheduling account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Triggers
  • Appointment Start - Triggers a specified time before an appointment starts.
  • Appointment Canceled - Triggers when an appointment is canceled. 
  • New Product Order - Triggers when a new order is completed. 
  • New Appointment - Triggers when a new appointment is scheduled. 
  • Appointment Rescheduled - Triggers when an appointment in Acuity gets rescheduled. 
Searches
  • Find Appointment by ID - Finds an existing appointment by appointment ID.
  • Find Appointments by Client Info - Find existing appointments from client info.
Actions
  • Add Package Code - Adds a new package code.
  • API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
  • Add Coupon Code - Adds a new coupon code.
  • Add Blocked Off Time - Block off a new range of time on your schedule.
  • Add or Update Client - This action updates a client's information in Acuity Scheduling. If the client does not exist, it creates a new client.
