DocuSign and Zapier connect to automate document workflows. You can trigger actions when envelopes are sent or completed and create new signature requests from templates.
Prerequisites
To use the Docusign app on Zapier, you must have:
- An active DocuSign account.
- Your Permissions Profile must have permissions for the actions you intent to use with Zapier.
Connect Docusign to Zapier
To create an app connection to DocuSign on Zapier:

- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select DocuSign.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into DocuSign to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your DocuSign account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- API rate limits apply. Each account is limited to 3,000 API requests per hour by default, with hourly usage refreshing at the top of each hour.
- DocuSign refresh tokens expire after 30 days, which can cause connection disconnections if you're not very active on Zapier.
