Formstack and Zapier connect to automate form workflows. You can trigger actions when new form submissions are received and create new form submissions.
Prerequisites
To use the Formstack app on Zapier, you must have:
- An active Formstack account (any paid plan).
- At least one active form created in your Formstack account to trigger workflows
Connect Formstack to Zapier
To create an app connection to Formstack on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Formstack.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into Formstack to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your Formstack account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
Limitations
- API rate limits vary by account plan type, with daily quotas that reset at midnight. When exceeded, you'll receive a 429 Too Many Requests error.
- Ensure forms do not have identical field labels, as Zapier cannot differentiate between fields with the same name.
