OneDrive and Zapier connect to automate file management. You can trigger actions when new files are added and upload files or create folders.
Prerequisites
To use the OneDrive app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Microsoft 365 Business or Enterprise paid subscription.
- OneDrive for Business account.
Connect OneDrive to Zapier
To create an app connection to OneDrive on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select OneDrive.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into OneDrive to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your OneDrive account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- Remove Item Permission - Remove a specific user or link's access to a file or folder. Provide either email address or permission ID.
- Replace File - Replaces a file with new content.

- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
Limitations
- API throttling limits apply . OneDrive API requests are subject to Microsoft Graph throttling limits, including a global limit of 130,000 requests per 10 seconds per app across all tenants.
- Files cannot contain certain characters including " '*: <> ? / | and leading/trailing spaces in file or folder names are not allowed.
- The New File and New or Updated File triggers and the Find File or Folder by ID search support a maximum file size of 310 MB.
- The Upload File action supports a maximum file size of 60 MB.
