How to get started with LumApps on Zapier

LumApps and Zapier connect to automate your work. You can trigger actions when new content is published or community posts are created, and send notifications to your intranet.

Prerequisites

To use the LumApps app on Zapier, you must have:

  • A LumApps account with access to your organization's intranet.
  • Your LumApps site URL, including the site slug path (for example, https://yourcompany.lumapps.com/a/your-site or https://intranet.yourcompany.com/home/).
  • Your refresh token.

Find your LumApps refresh token

You'll need to generate a refresh token in LumApps to connect to Zapier.

To get your refresh token:

  1. Open one of the following URLs in your browser:
  • If you have a custom domain: https://login.lumapps.com/v1/urls?domain=your.domain.com (replace your.domain.com with your intranet domain)
  • If you use a slug: https://login.lumapps.com/v1/urls?slug=your-slug (replace your-slug with your organization's slug). Copy the link shown in the url property from the JSON response and open it in a new browser tab.
  1. Log in with your LumApps credentials.
  2. Go to https://login.lumapps.com/v1/get-token.
  3. Copy the value of the refreshToken property from the JSON response.
  4. Save this token to use when connecting to Zapier.
