Rillet and Zapier connect to automate accounting workflows. You can trigger on new and updated invoices, customers, and contracts, and create, update, or find records in Rillet.
Prerequisites
To use the Rillet app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Rillet organization with API access enabled (contact Rillet if API access is not yet turned on for your account).
- An API key from Organization Settings in Rillet.
Find your Rillet API key
Open API access in Rillet, create or copy an API key, and choose Production or Test (Sandbox) when you connect to Zapier to match that key’s environment.
Connect Rillet to Zapier
To create an app connection to Rillet on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Rillet.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- Complete the following fields: - Environment: Select Production for live data or Test (Sandbox) for sandbox data. - API Key: Enter your Rillet API key from Organization Settings.
- Click Yes, Continue to Rillet.
Your Rillet account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- The Rillet API applies rate limits (for example, request quotas per minute). Heavy Zaps may need spacing or batching to stay within limits.
