Kartra and Zapier connect to automate lead management. You can trigger actions when leads fill forms or buy products and create leads or assign tags.
Prerequisites
To use the Kartra app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Kartra Growth, Professional, or Enterprise plan.
- Zapier activation approval from Kartra (must be requested and approved, typically takes 1-2 business days).
- A Kartra API key and API password.
Connect Kartra to Zapier
To create an app connection to Kartra on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Kartra.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- Complete the following fields:
- API Key: Enter your Kartra API Key.
- API Password: Enter your Kartra API Password.
- Click Yes, Continue to Kartra.
Your Kartra account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- API rate limit of 20 calls per second per App, with "Too many requests" error (429) when exceeded.
- Lead must already exist in Kartra account for most actions to work, otherwise nothing happens when Zap attempts to run.
