PDF.co and Zapier connect to automate PDF tasks. You can convert files to PDF, extract data from documents, and split or merge PDFs.
Prerequisites
To use the PDF.co app on Zapier, you must have:
- An active PDF.co account with an API key from your PDF.co Dashboard.
- Sufficient PDF.co credits for your intended usage.
Connect PDF.co to Zapier
To create an app connection to PDF.co on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select PDF.co.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- In the API Key field, enter your PDF.co API key.
- Click Yes, Continue to PDF.co.
Your PDF.co account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- Request size limit of 4 megabytes maximum for API requests.
- File inputs are only accepted via publicly accessible URLs, not through direct uploads.
- Rate limiting applies with error code 429 "Too many requests in a given time period".
- Password-protected documents require special handling and may result in error code 441 "Invalid Password".
