How to get started with GetResponse on Zapier

GetResponse and Zapier connect to automate your email marketing. You can trigger actions when new contacts are added and create contacts from forms.

Prerequisites

To use the GetResponse app on Zapier, you must have:

  • An active GetResponse account (free or paid plan).
  • A generated API key from your GetResponse account (found under Tools Integrations and API API).
  • For GetResponse MAX clients: An X-Domain header containing your domain name.

Connect GetResponse to Zapier

To create an app connection to GetResponse on Zapier:

  • Go to the Apps page.
  • Click + Add connection.
  • A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select GetResponse.
  • Click Add connection.
  • A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
  • Complete the following fields:
    • API Key: Enter your GetResponse API key.
    • Account Type: Select your account type.
    • Domain Name: Enter your GetResponse MAX domain name (GetResponse MAX users only).
  • Click Yes, Continue to GetResponse.

Your GetResponse account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations

  • API keys must be used within 90 days or they will expire and need to be regenerated.
  • Rate limiting applies with 30,000 API calls per 10-minute time frame and 80 API calls per second maximum.
