About SurveyMonkey's app
Triggers, searches, and actions
Triggers
- New Response Notification (Instant) - Triggers a notification when your survey is completed.
- New Response Notification With Answers (Instant) - Triggers a notification when your survey is completed and sends the entire response. Only for SurveyMonkey annual paid users.
Searches
- Find Contact - Find one of your address book contacts.
- Find Collector - Find a collector for one of your surveys.
- Find Survey - Find one of your surveys.
Actions
- Create Contact - Creates a new contact in your address book.
- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
- Send Survey - Send a survey invitation to one or more contacts and/or emails.
Limitations
- API rate limits apply. SurveyMonkey API has rate limits of 120 requests per minute and starting at 500 requests per day for Draft and Private apps. The API limit resets at 12:00 AM GMT daily, with three violations of up to 150% permitted within a 30-day window.
- Email, First Name, and Last Name fields will only be populated if you're using an email collector from your SurveyMonkey address book. For other collector types, you need to use specific survey questions for this data.
- Survey response fields may not appear when setting up Zaps if sample data has not been submitted. You need to submit a complete survey response with answers to every question before fields become visible in Zapier.
- If you have multiple questions with exactly the same name in your survey, Zapier will only see one of them. All survey questions must have unique names.
