ServiceNow administrator prerequisites for Zapier connection

This guide is for ServiceNow administrators to prepare your organization’s environments so that users can connect to ServiceNow by OAuth to Zapier. 

Before you start, ensure OAuth setup is complete.

1. Create an application registry

You must create an application registry for Zapier and provide the following Zapier credentials:

2. (Optional) Retrieve Client credentials

You can provide users with the following two credentials from your Zapier application registry:

• Client ID
• Client Secret

Once you complete these steps, users in your ServiceNow organization will be able to connect ServiceNow to Zapier by OAuth.
