Note

WhatsApp Business is a separate integration from WhatsApp Notifications. WhatsApp Business requires your own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) through Meta Business Manager. If you're looking for WhatsApp Notifications, check How to get started with WhatsApp Notifications on Zapier.

Prerequisites

To use the WhatsApp Business app on Zapier, you must have:

  • A paid Zapier account. WhatsApp Business is a premium app on Zapier.
  • A Meta Business Manager account.
  • A WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) with a valid and registered phone number. A personal WhatsApp number will not work. Your number must be registered through your WABA in Meta Business Manager.
  • An approved display name for your WhatsApp Business Account. Meta requires display name approval before you can send messages. Zapier cannot resolve display name issues on your behalf. You need to manage this through your WABA settings in Meta Business Manager.
