RingCentral and Zapier connect to automate your calls and messages. You can trigger actions when calls end or SMS arrive and send texts or create contacts.
Prerequisites
To use the RingCentral app on Zapier, you must have:
- A RingCentral Office account.
- For call recording triggers: Call recording must be enabled in your RingCentral account settings.
Connect RingCentral to Zapier
To create an app connection to RingCentral on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select RingCentral.
- Click Add connection.
- A new browser tab or window will open.
- Log into RingCentral to authenticate.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.
Your RingCentral account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

- API Request (Beta) - This is an advanced action which makes a raw HTTP request that includes this integration's authentication.
Limitations
- API rate limits apply with different usage plan groups. Rate limit violations result in HTTP 429 "Too Many Requests" errors, which can trap applications in an unending penalty window if requests continue during the penalty interval.
