Groq and Zapier connect to automate AI workflows. You can send prompts to Groq's fast AI models and get responses for analysis, content creation, and more.
Prerequisites
To use the Groq app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Groq account with access to the Groq Console.
- A valid Groq API key created from the Groq Console keys page.
- Awareness that Groq operates on a pay-as-you-go pricing model after free tier limits are exceeded.
Connect Groq to Zapier
To create an app connection to Groq on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Groq.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- In the API Key field, enter your Groq API key.
- Click Yes, Continue to Groq.
Your Groq account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- Rate limits apply at the organization level. Free tier has strict limits including 30 RPM (requests per minute), 7K-14.4K RPD (requests per day), 6K-15K TPM (tokens per minute), and 100K-500K TPD (tokens per day) depending on the model.
- Only certain models are available through the API, and model availability may change.
