Add to Calendar PRO uses API keys to authenticate your account on Zapier.

  1. Log into your Add to Calendar PRO account at https://app.add-to-calendar-pro.com.
  2. Click Settings (the cog icon) from the main menu.
  3. Select Technical.
  4. In the API Keys section, click New API Key.
  5. Confirm the modal by clicking Create (add an optional Name for the key to identify it later).
  6. Copy the API key to your clipboard by clicking on it.

Are self-hosted or cloud-hosted accounts supported? Cloud-hosted accounts only  
Is a paid Add to Calendar PRO plan required? Yes
  • You will need to be on a Hobby plan or higher.
  • View Add to Calendar PRO's plans.
Are any special account permissions required? No
  • Only admins can create and manage API keys. However, all users can use the Zapier integration via an existing API key.

Are there usage limits? Yes
  • The API  is rate limited at 80 requests per second. Creating events (and event groups) is limited to a monthly quota. This quota is based on the user's plan and renews every month. 
Are there pagination limits? No  
Do trigger samples use real data from your account or generic data? Real trigger samples
  • The triggers pull the latest item as sample data. If none is present, a static sample is available as well.
Are custom fields supported? Yes
  • For RSVP templates, users can create custom fields. Their dynamic is reflected within the respective actions. For events, users can create multiple dates. This dynamic is also reflected within the respective actions.
Do update actions overwrite or append to existing data? Overwrite existing data  
Is there any additional info? Yes
