Prerequisites
To use the Azure OpenAI integration on Zapier, you must have:
- A paid Zapier account. Azure OpenAI is a premium app on Zapier.
- A paid Azure subscription with Azure OpenAI Service enabled. View Azure OpenAI pricing.
- An Azure OpenAI resource with a deployed model.
- Your Resource Name and API Key.
- Appropriate cognitive services permissions assigned to your Microsoft account.
Get your Azure OpenAI credentials
To connect Azure OpenAI to Zapier, you'll need your:
- Resource Name: The name of your Azure OpenAI resource in the Azure portal.
- API Key: Your Azure OpenAI resource API key, found in the Keys and Endpoint section of your resource.

Connect Azure OpenAI to Zapier
To create an app connection to Azure OpenAI on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Azure OpenAI.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- Complete the following fields:
- Resource Name: Enter your Azure OpenAI resource name.
- Key: Enter your Azure OpenAI API key.
- Log into Azure OpenAI to authenticate if prompted.
- Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted.
Your Azure OpenAI account is now successfully connected to Zapier.
