Share a function with team members

This product is in open beta. It’s available for use but still in active development and may change.

In Zapier Functions, you can share your functions with other members of your Zapier account. When you share, other members can view and edit the function.

Share a function

1. From the Functions home, select the function you want to share.
2. Click Share.
3. Click the access dropdown menu.
4. Select Edit access.
5. Click the link icon to save the link to your clipboard.
6. Click Save.

Note

You can only share a function with your entire Zapier account. You cannot share with specific members. 

Parsing errors

You cannot share a function if it contains parsing errors. If any files in your function have parsing errors, those will be displayed in the sharing dialog box and you'll not be able to save changes. Fix any errors before you try to share the function.

Find shared functions

If other members of your account share functions with you, they will be available in the Functions home. To find shared functions:

1. In the Functions home, click the sharing dropdown menu at the top of the list.
2. Select Shared with me.
   1. You can select All to see both shared and private functions.

You'll now see shared functions, along with the last modified date, status (deployed or not deployed), and the function owner's avatar.
