How to get started with Bluesky on Zapier

Connect to Bluesky on Zapier

Bluesky uses session authentication to authenticate your account on Zapier.

Required authentication fields

  • Username
  • Password

Additional authentication instructions

For better security, Zapier recommends creating an app password in your Bluesky account to use as your password. To create an app password:

  • Log into your Bluesky account.
  • Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > App Passwords.
  • Click + Add App Password. A dialog box will appear.
  • Enter a unique name for the app or use the randomly generated one.
  • Click Next >.
  • Your app password will be displayed. Copy it to your clipboard. Store this password securely, as it cannot be viewed again.
