The Link button logic type lets you display a clickable button that opens a URL, such as a contact form, support page, or any other link you prefer, directly from the chat window. You can display the button when the conversation starts or when a user enters a specific keyword.
Create the Link button logic
- From the Chatbots home, select your chatbot.

Click the Logic tab.
- Click + Add logic and select Link button.

In the Button shows dropdown menu, select when the chatbot should display the button:
- At the beginning of the conversation.
- When keywords are used.
- The next step depends on the option you select in the Button shows dropdown menu.
At the beginning of the conversation
- In the Button text field, enter a label for the button, like “Book a meeting”.

In the Button link field, enter the link to your contact form, support page, or other destination.

- In the Button icon field, select an icon that will appear beside the label.
- Click Create button.
When keywords are used
- In the Keywords section, you can keep the existing examples or edit them by entering a new value in the text field.

(Optional) Click + Add keyword to add more keywords.
- You can add up to 10 keywords.
- In the Button text field, enter a label for the button, such as “Contact support”.

In the Button link field, enter the link to your contact form, support page, or other destination.

- In the Button icon field, select an icon that will appear beside the label.
- Click Create button.
Edit keywords
If you're using keywords for this logic type, you can edit them at any time:
- On the left sidebar, select Logic.

Click Link button.
- Click the text field of a keyword to edit its text.
- Click and drag the Drag icon to move a keyword to a different position.
- Use the Delete icon beside a keyword to remove it.
- Click Save.
