How to get started with Signagelive on Zapier

Connect to Signagelive on Zapier

Signagelive uses OAuth to authenticate your account on Zapier.

  • Log into Signagelive to authenticate.
  • Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.

Are self-hosted or cloud-hosted accounts supported? Cloud-hosted accounts only
 
Is a paid Signagelive plan required? Yes
  • You require at least one standard Signagelive licence in order to have access to a Signagelive Network. 
  • In addition to this:
    • To use the New Proof of Play RTE trigger, you must have the HTTP RTEs module enabled.
    • To use Webhook Notification trigger, you must have Webhook Notifications and Proactive Monitoring enabled.
  • Should you need any of these modules enabled on their Signagelive Network, you will need to purchase these by contacting sales@signagelive.com.
  • View Signagelive's plans.
Are any special account permissions required? Yes
  • You must be an administrator on the Signagelive Network.

Do trigger samples use real data from your account or generic data? Generic trigger samples

Depending on the trigger being used, a different set of sample data will be obtained (all generic) but these will be as follows: 

New Proof of Play RTE trigger: 

  • Serial Number (your Player’s Signagelive Serial Number) 
  • Description, Address 1, Address 2, City, Country, Postcode, Reference fields (1-10) 
  • Asset Start Time (Epoch) 
  • Asset Start Time (ISO 8601) 
  • Asset End Time (Epoch) 
  • Asset End Time (ISO 8601) 
  • Start Reason 
  • End Reason 
  • PMA (Playlist Media Asset) ID 
  • PMA (Playlist Media Asset) ID (Integer Value) 
  • PMA (Playlist Media Asset) Media Asset ID 
  • PMA Media Asset (Integer Value) 
  • PMA Media Asset Name 

New Webhook Notification trigger: 

  • Publish Request Status - when a new schedule is published to a Player
  • Publish Refinement Status - when an already published Playlist or Layout is edited or if the Player Config is updated
  • Player Config Write Request Status - when a Config Write takes place 
  • Player Activity - when the Player sends activity back to Signagelive
  • Proactive Monitoring - works in the same way as our Proactive Monitoring module, sends notifications similar to the SMS or email notifications, but via Webhook - Licence Activity - when a Licence is activated or deactivated
     
Are custom fields supported? No
