How to get started with Greip on Zapier

Connect to Greip on Zapier

Greip uses API keys to authenticate your account on Zapier.

Required authentication fields

  1. Log into your Greip.io account. 
  2. Go to the Settings & Security section. 
  3. Under the Integration section, find the Zapier app listed and click Configure
  4. Click Copy under the API Key field to copy to your clipboard.

About Greip's app

Are self-hosted or cloud-hosted accounts supported? Cloud-hosted accounts only
  • Greip currently only supports cloud-hosted accounts, so users attempting to use self-hosted accounts will not be able to connect.
  • If a user with a self-hosted account attempts to access the API, they will receive the following error message in the HTTP response: Error Code: 401 Unauthorized Message: “This feature is available for cloud-hosted accounts only. Please switch to a cloud-hosted account to proceed.”
Is a paid Greip plan required? No

The following plans are required to access Greip services via the Zapier integration: 

  • Free Plan: Basic access with limited triggers and actions. 
  • Standard Plan: Full access to most features, including Bin Lookup action. 
  • Premium Plan: Access to all actions, including Email Validation, Phone Validation, and Asn Lookup action.
  • If a user attempts to use an action not supported by their plan, they will receive the following error in the HTTP response: Error Code: 200 Message: “This feature is not available for your plan, please upgrade your plan first."
